Lovely little Ekans came in to see our team after she managed to knot her tail!
She was started on pain relief and antibiotics before Dr Catherine performed an amputation of the affected area. The surgery was successful, and Ekans was still quite happy to feed herself and pass normal motions before and after her procedure.
She has now gone home and will have her stitches removed in a couple of months. We wish her a speedy and uneventful recovery.
